Imagine the sound of walking through the woods in autumn, the dry, fallen leaves rustling under your feet – that light, dry crackling that accompanies every step. It feels light and airy, and you can let your thoughts wander freely.

The SOUND OF LEAVES socks are knitted in the round from the top down. The cuff has a 1x1 rib. The back of the leg is also worked in a 1x1 rib, while the front features a band with a leaf-like pattern that extends over the instep. The sole of the sock is knitted in stockinette stitch.

The lace is worked as a band lace with lateral decreases.

MATERIAL
MOONSHINE FINE by Juniper Moon Farm – a luxurious blend of merino wool, alpaca, and silk. This yarn makes socks beautifully luxurious! You can use any lovely sock yarn – the only important thing is that the gauge is correct.
