REMEMBER LAST SUMMER is knitted from the top down in one piece, starting at the back neckline. The sloping shoulder lines are created using the contiguous method by Suzie Myers using continuous increases. After finishing the front neckline, continue knitting in the round. Then front and back are divided to knit the armholes in rows. After they have been completed, knitting continues in the round up to the hem. A vertical pattern band (openwork pattern) runs down the centre of the front and back.
There are two versions: For the summer version, the neck and arm openings are finished using an I-Cord bind off. For the winter version, a turtle neck collar is added at the neck.
