REMEMBER LAST SUMMER - knitting pattern
The shirt is knitted in one piece from the top down, starting at the back neckline. The sloping shoulder lines are created by even increases using Suzie Myers' Contiguous Method. Once the front neckline is finished, the work continues in the round.
Then the front and back pieces are separated so that the armholes can be knitted in rows. Once these are finished, knitting continues in rounds until the ribbing is reached.
A patterned band (perforated stripe) runs vertically down the center of the front and back pieces.
There are two versions.
For the summer version, the neck and armholes are finished with an I-cord edge.
The winter version has a roll neck and can be worn as a casual vest.

Difficulty level - MEDIUM ★★★☆☆
Techniques: Provisional cast-on, knitting knit & purl stitches, knitting stitches together, increases, yarn overs, twisted stitches, picking up stitches from the edge, knitting I-cord.

Juniper Moon Farm SUMMER SOLSTICE (48% linen, 24% cotton, 24% viscose, 4% polyester, 270 m (295 yds) / 100 g, in colour 306 High Tide, 3 (3 / 4 / 4 / 5 / 5) balls
For the winter version:
Hey Mama Wolf MOKOSH (100% Wool / Merino d'Arles), 300 m / 100g, Colour 01 Off-white, 3 (3 / 4 / 4 / 5 / 5) skeins
OR
Rowan FELTED TWEED (50% wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose, 175 m (191 yds) / 50g) in color 181 Mineral, 5 (6 / 6 / 6 / 7 / 7) balls.
