LIGHT OF SPRING is a quick and easy project, knitted out of one single skein of Noro’s KAKIGORI, this supersoft shawl is a quick and easy knit.

To underline the beautiful colour flow of this yarn, I used a very simple pattern which is constructed of knit and purl stitches only.

Skill level: Beginner to intermediate - pick up stitches out of the side, knit & purl stitches, yarnovers and increases, that’s all.
The scarf is knitted from the bottom up in rows, starting at the tip. It has a wingspan of 175cm / 69’’, front centre depth of 55cms / 22’’.

To support the beautiful play of colors of this yarn, I used a simple all-over pattern in a right-left look, which gives the scarf a beautiful structure.
The shawl is knitted in rows from the tip upwards.

LIGHT OF SPRING can just as easily be knitted from any other yarn you like.
