Wrist warmers BERLIN 2.0 - a small knitting project for your little break! Cable pattern knitted in the round.
The super-soft BERLIN 2.0 wrist warmers are knitted on circular needles using the Magic Loop technique. Because the provisional cast-on is made directly onto a cable needle, whose cable is later used for continuing to knit, it's quite convenient, as the held stitches don't need to be transferred to the working needle. Later, simply screw the correct size needle tips onto the cable, and you're ready to continue.
The BERLIN 2.0 pattern band has a direction. It looks best when knitted from the center outwards, as this allows it to expand symmetrically upwards and downwards. For this reason, the wrist warmers are started with a provisional cast-on.
I used a very simple and later almost invisible provisional cast-on - the provisional cast-on by looping the stitches.
You will find detailed explanations with photos in the topic block 'TUTORIAL Provisional cast-on by looping on'.
You can work from the knitting chart or follow the text; the instructions are the same.
