BERLIN 2.0 wrist warmers - a small knitting project for your little break! Cable pattern knitted in rounds
The super-soft BERLIN 2.0 wrist warmers are knitted on circular knitting needles using the Magic Loop technique. Because the provisional cast-on is made directly on an auxiliary needle, the cable of which is later used to continue knitting, it is quite convenient because the stitches that have been put aside do not have to be transferred to the working needle first. Later, simply screw the needle tips in the right size onto the auxiliary cable and you can carry on.
The pattern band of BERLIN 2.0 has a direction. It looks best when knitted from the middle, because then it can expand symmetrically upwards and downwards. For this reason, the wrist warmers are started with a provisional cast-on.
I used a very simple and later almost invisible provisional cast-on - the provisional cast-on by looping.
You will find detailed explanations with photos in the topic block 'TUTORIAL Provisional cast-on'.
You can work according to the knitting chart or follow the text, the instructions are the same.
